Ethan V. is a CFII and A&P.

Collin is a CFII & part owner a flight school. 

Jenna is flying for an airline. 

Jan is teaching ground school to Young Eagles.

Levi is flying a corporate jet.

Hannah is a Gold Seal CFI with a commercial multi-engine rating.

Matthew has earned both tailwheel and complex endorsements.

Mini-Scholarships

"Winging it Safely" flight training mini-scholarships are awarded by raffle at each RTAG Aviation Seminar.

The scholarship can be used for any flight training, including Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, MEI, BFRs, IPCs, simulator time, & glider or floatplane training.

All paid RTAG members are eligible for a raffle ticket.

You must be present to win. 

Winning a mini-scholarship by raffle does NOT disqualify an applicant for our $2500 scholarships. To apply for a $2500 scholarship, click the PDFs above.

Mission Statement & Goals

To work with the Fundraising Team to raise money to fund scholarships.

To publicize the availability of the scholarships.

To award scholarships to deserving, qualified student pilots & licensed pilots to help them reach their goals.

Through the above outreach and publicity, RTAG will increase the possibility of adding new members.

RTAG founding member, past president, and longtime director Bob Meurer passed away on November 13th, 2021. 

Bob will be remembered for his amazing stories, hearty laughter, and his dedication to teaching the next generation of pilots.

Our scholarships are named for two distinguished members who have "flown west": Tom Pagnano and Bob Meurer. ​​​​
