Tom Pagnano was an active member of the Reno-Tahoe Aviation Group. One of his passions was flying and he loved giving young people the opportunity to learn to fly.

Sadly, he passed away on April 30th, 2012, after a long battle with cancer. You can read his obituary here.

In 2015, the RTAG BoD created the Tom Pagnano Memorial Scholarship, honoring Tom by helping young people learn how to fly.

In 2016, the RTAG BoD successfully renamed the old CAP building on the east side of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport after Tom Pagnano. The plaque below hung in that building until the building was slated for demolition.

Tom had many friends in the aviation community and he is greatly missed.
